Warranty Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing in the individual case, DAVID BEIKE – INTERIOR DESIGN grants a voluntary warranty for VARDON subject to the following conditions.
1. Notice regarding statutory rights
The purchaser’s statutory rights in the event of defects remain in full force and free of charge. These rights are not restricted by the warranty set out below.

3. Subject of the warranty
The warranty applies to VARDON lighting objects.
4. Warranty period
- 10-year warranty on the object body
- 5-year warranty on the electronics
The warranty period begins upon delivery of the respective object to the purchaser.
5. Territorial scope
The warranty applies within the European Union.
6. Requirements and procedure for making a claim
To make a warranty claim, the following are required:
- proof of purchase or invoice
- description of the defect
- meaningful photographs, where required for assessment

7. Exclusions
The warranty does not cover damage caused in particular by:
- improper use
- improper installation or commissioning
- interventions, modifications or repairs by unauthorised third parties
- external influences for which DAVID BEIKE – INTERIOR DESIGN is not responsible
- normal wear and tear to the extent technically or materially customary
8. Warranty service
In the event of a warranty claim, DAVID BEIKE – INTERIOR DESIGN will, at its discretion, examine the claim and, where the warranty requirements are met, provide repair, replacement or another appropriate warranty service.
No further claims arise from this voluntary warranty unless mandatory statutory provisions provide otherwise.
